This introduces the INtime® family of operating system products. INtime for Windows combines deterministic, hard real-time control with standard Windows operating systems without requiring additional hardware. INtime Distributed RTOS is a standalone deployment of the INtime product which provides all of the features of the INtime for Windows product but without sharing the host with Windows. Both products are referred to hereafter as “INtime.”
INtime provides the tools you need to create and run real-time (RT) applications— robust, high-performance applications with predictable responses to external events.
This documentation assumes that you know how to develop programs for Windows and understand real-time system concepts.
