Advanced Configuration and Diagnostic Tools

The following utility programs are installed in the folder “INtime\Utilities” and are intended to be used in certain advanced configuration or diagnostic cases.

Dump certain ACPI tables (acpi.exe, acpi.rta)

Check and configure Cache Allocation Technology (“CAT”) (cattool.exe)

Dump information from the CPUID instruction (cpuinfo.exe, cpuinfo.rta)

Processor thread frequency (freq.exe, freq.rta) 

Configure core frequency scaling using HWP and Turbo mode (hwp.exe) 

General MSR read/write utilities (msrutil.exe, rwmsr.rta) 

Display list of INtime nodes visible to Windows or INtime (nodes.exe, rtnodes.rta) 

Perform basic NTX operation check (ntxprobe.exe) 

Check state of APIC, and verify x2APIC mode is being used (x2apic.exe)

Dump the Interrupt Redirection Table, used by x2APIC mode (dumpirt.rta)
