This utility is used to assist in diagnosing potential problems when managing interrupts in x2APIC mode. Interrupts from PCIe devices are redirected through a structure called the Interrupt Redirection Table (IRT) which is used by the VT-d hardware to manage the x2APIC APIC IDs translation.

The default mode prints the used entries of the IRT.

dumpirt.rta [-v [-v]]

Available options

-v

Add verbose information about the DRHU state

-v -v

Add verbose information and also display all of the IRT entries, even the empty ones.
