INtime SDK Help
difftime

Finds the difference between two time values.

#include <time.h>

/* generic time (see Remarks) */
double difftime (time_t timer1, time_t timer0);

/* 32 bit time */
double _difftime32(__time32_t _Time1, __time32_t _Time0);

/* 64 bit time */
double _difftime64(__time64_t _Time1, __time64_t _Time0);

Parameters

timer0
Beginning time.
timer1
Ending time.

Remarks

difftime() is a wrapper for _difftime32() and time_t is, by default, equivalent to __time32_t. If you need to force the compiler to interpret time_t as the new 64-bit __time64_t, you can define _USE_64BIT_TIME_T. This is recommended to ensure that your application does not fail after January 18, 2038, but is not backwards-compatible with previous versions of INtime.

Return Values

The elapsed time in seconds.
