Sets the attributes of a named file.

    LPCSTR lpFileName,
    DWORD dwFileAttributes
);

Parameters

lpFileName

A pointer to a filename whose attributes are to be updated.

dwFileAttributes

File attributes to set for the file. This parameter can be a combination of values. However, all other values override FILE_ATTR_NORMAL. Possible values are:

Attribute	Description
FILE_ATTR_READONLY	File is read-only
FILE_ATTR_HIDDEN	File is hidden
FILE_ATTR_SYSTEM	File is marked as a system file
FILE_ATTR_ARCHIVE	File is marked for archiving
FILE_ATTR_NORMAL	File is a normal file (not a device nor a directory)
