Parameters

dwDesiredAccess

Ignored.

bInheritHandle

Ignored.

lpName

Pointer to a null-terminated string that names the shared memory object to open. Name comparisons are case sensitive.

location

Pointer to a pointer that receives the shared memory object's virtual address.

Return Values

Handle to shared memory object

Success.

NULL
