INtime SDK v7 > About INtime > Networking and I/O > High-Performance Ethernet > hpeSetReceiveQueueAttributes

Sets the type of a receive queue. If this type is set to HPE_TIMESTAMP then 64 bits of timestamp data (HPE_1588_TIMESTAMP) are prepended to all received frame. Additional space must be provided in the receive buffer for them.

HPESTATUS hpeSetReceiveQueueAttributes(
    HPEHANDLE devhandle,
    DWORD queue_index,
    DWORD rx_attribs
);

Parameters

A handle value for the device.
queue_index
The index of the designated queue.
rx_attribs
The valid attributes are:
HPE_RX_TIMESTAMP Append timestamp
HPE_RX_NONOTIFY Do not signal when an Rx interrupt occurs. Use this option when polling mode is desired but interrupts must be enabled for hpeSetTargetTimer.

A status value indicating the success or failure of the operation:

E_OK The operation completed successfully.
E_EXIST The handle given is not a handle for an open HPE interface.
E_PARAM The rx_queue_type parameter is invalid
E_LIMIT The queue_index parameter is out of range for the current hardware interface.
