Returns the port ID for a given port handle.

Parameters

hPort

A handle for a port object.

Return Values

A valid port ID for the port whose handle is hPort.

Success.

BAD_PORT_ID

Failure. To determine the status, call GetLastRtError.

Status

E_CONTEXT 0x0005

The port is being deleted.

E_EXIST 0x0006

The hPort parameter is not valid.

E_TYPE 0x8002

The hPort parameter is not a handle for a port.
